Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing facility
- Proven experience leading or managing engineering teams
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and software (RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk View ME)
- Experience designing and reading one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams for industrial electrical and control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems (hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus)
- AutoCAD experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 5 electrical engineers
- Design and upkeep of existing plant electrical systems
- Design electrical distribution and control schemes for new equipment
- Create one-line diagrams and schematics for new and existing equipment
- Work with suppliers and contractors when purchasing and installing equipment
- Assist maintenance in troubleshooting and repair of equipment, including instructing maintenance on proper troubleshooting techniques
- Work with purchasing on procurement of new and used electrical equipment
