Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join a well-established company in Seymour. This is a 2nd shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and attendance. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and blueprints

Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices accurately and safely

Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Meet production goals while maintaining attention to detail

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:

Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions

Ability to read basic blueprints or assembly diagrams

Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to required limits

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
