Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Driver / Delivery Associate to support our manufacturing operations by transporting company parts, products, and supplies within the local area. This role reports to the Plant Manager and works closely with the Materials Manager and Operations Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver company products and supplies using company-assigned vehicles
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Obtain vendor signatures on purchase orders (POs) and packing slips
- Sign for and verify incoming materials
- Maintain container ID tag system per Quality Control procedures
- Verify quantities, process paperwork, and move materials to designated operations
- Create purchase orders for outside labor and receive completed work into the computer system
- Maintain assigned company vehicle, including routine maintenance, licensing and inspections, reporting repairs, and proper loading and use of tie-down devices
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean driving record
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Ability to lift, pull, and push heavy loads
- Forklift (tow motor) operation required (certification preferred or obtainable)
- Prior driver/delivery experience required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer skills (PO creation and inventory receipt)
- Tow motor / forklift experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read maps and follow delivery routes
- High school diploma or GED preferred
