Contract to Hire Opportunity in Andover, MA
Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 D.O.E.
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00 or 5:30pm depending on overtime - required
Summary
Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of orthodontic appliances. You'll be responsible for conducting final inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring that every product meets our rigorous standards before shipment.
Your Daily Activities will Include:
- Perform detailed inspections of orthodontic appliances to ensure they meet specifications, fit requirements, and quality standards with a general level of supervision and direction.
- Understand and identify defects, nonconformities, or deviations and communicate findings to appropriate departments for correction.
- Verify case information, prescription accuracy, and work order details.
- Document inspection results and maintain quality control records.
- Record production information and track work progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in a quality inspection role required.
- Ability to work in a stationary, seated position for several hours at a time.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and small print for assemblies.
- Basic knowledge of orthodontic appliance types and functions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preemployment background check is required.
