Machine Attendant I, II & III
Pay Range: $17.50 – $22.50/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differential: 5% for 2nd shift | 10% for 3rd shift
Position Overview
We are hiring Machine Attendants at multiple experience levels (I–III). This role involves monitoring production machines and assembly processes to ensure parts are inspected, packaged, and produced according to safety procedures and customer quality standards. Level placement will depend on experience, skills, and ability to work independently.
Machine Attendant I (Entry Level)
Responsibilities:
• Handle product produced from machines (trimming/clipping as needed)
• Package, weigh, and label product
• Perform basic inspections and measurements when required
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Communicate any quality concerns to the Shift Supervisor
• Communicate important updates to incoming shifts
Qualifications:
• Ability to read work orders and instructions
• Basic math and computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Machine Attendant II (Intermediate Level)
Responsibilities:
• All Level I duties plus:
• Train entry-level attendants
• Perform assembly work (including ultrasonic inserting/welding and kit work)
• Perform more detailed inspections and measurements
• Suggest process improvements to supervisors
• Support production efficiency and quality standards
Qualifications:
• Prior machine attendant or operator experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic measuring, math, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently
Machine Attendant III (Advanced Level)
Responsibilities:
• All Level I & II duties plus:
• Train Machine Attendant I & II employees
• Perform first-piece quality checks at startup
• Support production audits and process improvements
• Work on special projects with Production, Quality, and Engineering
• Advanced assembly work and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Machine Attendant II or similar role
• Strong measuring, troubleshooting, and production knowledge
• Leadership skills and attention to detail
• ERP system knowledge a plus
