Machine Attendant I
1st shift 7AM to 3:15
Pay Rate:$17.50
Summary:
To monitor one and/or multiple workstation(s) at the machine(s) to ensure that the packaging and inspection of the parts produced are in accordance with our safety procedures and the customer's standards.
Responsibilities:
• Handling of product produced from a machine
o This could include trimming or clipping product
o Packaging, weighing, and labeling product
• Inspection of all product produced at the machine
o At times measuring parts with gauge pins to ensure that they are acceptable to the customer's print
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized workstation
• Communicating any quality issues to the Shift Supervisor
• Communicating and training the Machine Attendants on the next shift
Experience:
Entry level position
Qualifications:
• Must be able to read and understand all the documentation required to perform assigned tasks (Work Order and the Operator Responsibility Sheet)
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Should be able to speak, understand and read English
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and show initiative
• Entry level measuring
