Industrial Painter
We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to prepare and coat components for long-lasting protection and appearance. This role focuses on proper surface prep, precise application, and consistent quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or blasting as required.
- Apply primers, undercoats, and topcoats using brushes, rollers, or spray systems.
- Follow paint specs and coating procedures per project requirements.
- Inspect finished work for coverage, color, and finish quality.
- Mix and handle paints, coatings, and solvents safely.
- Maintain painting tools and work areas in clean, working condition.
- Support other shop or prep tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety and PPE requirements.
- Previous experience in industrial or structural painting preferred.
- Knowledge of coating systems (epoxy, enamel, zinc-rich primers, etc.).
- Ability to read paint specs or work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player.
