Job Title: Operations Analyst – Lockbox (Payment & Deposit Operations)
Position Overview
This role supports multiple functions within Lockbox Operations in the Payment and Deposit Operations organization, with a primary focus on partnering with Service and Support teams to develop procedures, execute testing, and create testing scripts. Payment and Deposit Operations promotes a culture of accountability, teamwork, leadership, intellectual curiosity, and work-life balance.
As an Operations Analyst, you will develop deep industry and product knowledge while driving the execution of strategic initiatives and delivering high-quality operational support.
Essential Job Functions

Provide operational support for Lockbox applications and additional assigned systems

Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support

Write and execute test scripts for operational testing related to process improvement initiatives

Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications, including mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, and web-based applications

Mine and analyze data from primary and secondary sources, often using complex joins across multiple datasets

Serve as a first point of contact for user-reported inquiries and issues, providing production support

Perform problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis, and identification of preventative measures

Deliver high-quality service and operational support to internal and external partners and clients

Actively participate in Lockbox process initiatives, system enhancements, and operational projects

Translate business needs and requirements to Technology partners

Translate technical concepts and materials for Loan, Payment, and Operational Services teams and Lines of Business

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Ideally 2 years of experience in an operational or support environment

Strong attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements

Highly organized with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage change effectively and stay on top of task assignments

Strong decision-making and analytical skills

Ability to research and resolve non-straight-forward issues

Strong aptitude for technology-based tools and databases (e.g., Excel, Access)

Preferred Qualifications

1–2 years of Operations Analyst experience

Technically savvy with Windows-based systems and software

Experience with Excel and Jira, including managing large datasets and creating summary views using pivot tables, charts, and data visualizations
