Reserves & Production Planning Advisor
- Lead annual reserves evaluation and booking activities in accordance with regulatory and internal standards
- Develop and maintain integrated production planning models to support scenario analysis and sensitivity assessments across production, CAPEX, OPEX, and abandonment costs
- Support reserves audits and interface with internal technical teams and third-party evaluators
- Maintain reserves and production databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Deliver short- and long-term production forecasts to support budgeting, portfolio planning, and business planning cycles
- Provide production outlooks, operational strategies, and cost forecasts for annual and multi-year planning
- Support capital investment decisions related to drilling programs, facility upgrades, and field optimization initiatives
- Evaluate impacts of operational changes on reserves, production targets, and asset value
- Coordinate integrated technical workstreams supporting proposed development and operational projects
- Align operator-provided data with internal planning models to ensure accurate forecasting
- Design and implement production control and monitoring processes to drive operational efficiency
- Develop and execute field surveillance and performance monitoring plans
- Build and maintain CAPEX, OPEX, and abandonment cost models based on operational data
- Generate cost forecasts and support cost control and optimization initiatives
- Support development and execution of asset-level operational and development plans
- Provide data-driven recommendations on development and operational strategies
- Evaluate trade-offs between production growth, cost efficiency, and long-term asset performance
- Advise senior leadership on investment priorities, risk mitigation strategies, and portfolio optimization
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor on high-impact decisions affecting asset performance and future growth
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or related)
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred
- 10 years of upstream oil & gas experience with large, complex field developments
- Strong background in production operations, field management, and production surveillance
- Extensive experience in reserves evaluation, production forecasting, and integrated planning
- Demonstrated experience supporting offshore and deepwater developments
- Exposure to well planning, drilling execution, and facilities operations
- Experience leading or influencing multidisciplinary technical teams
- Prior Gulf of Mexico and offshore operating experience strongly preferred
