Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support plant operations by managing capital projects ranging from ~$10K to $5MM. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams and contractors to execute projects safely, on schedule, and within budget in a PSM and GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage capital projects from concept through execution
- Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets while ensuring PSM and GMP compliance
- Track milestones and communicate project status to stakeholders
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee contractor performance, safety, and engineering standards
- Support operations, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Participate in technical and safety reviews (P&IDs, HAZOPs, PHAs, Mechanical Integrity)
Qualifications
- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering (Chemical preferred)
- 4 years of engineering or project experience
- Exposure to capital projects in manufacturing or chemical environments preferred
- Working knowledge of cGMP and process improvement concepts
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, safety-focused approach
