C CREW – Yard Porter (Rotating Schedule)

Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Shift: Rotating Schedule

• Friday–Saturday: 6:45 AM – 4:45 PM

• Sunday–Monday: 6:45 PM – 4:45 AM
  Pay Rate: $18.62 per hour
  Company: Nesco Resource is sourcing for our automotive finishing client in Sterling Heights, MI.

Brief Description of Position

The Yard Porter supports the flow of vehicles through the yard by receiving, labeling, staging, and inspecting incoming units. The role also includes damage reporting, inventory updates, and handling mis-shipped vehicles. Must follow all OSHA and Health & Safety requirements.

Job Tasks

• Receive, label, and stage vehicles properly.

• Report vehicle damage to the Yard Lead immediately.

• Flag and stage mis-shipped vehicles according to instruction.

• Stage vehicles using FIFO procedures.

• Communicate any yard flow or safety concerns.

• Maintain yard cleanliness and organization.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Basic computer skills preferred; training available.

• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather elements.

• Must comply with PPE, OSHA, and Company safety standards.

Working Conditions

Outdoor yard environment with exposure to weather, vehicles, chemicals, and equipment.
