Job Description:
Please note, this requirement is a recreation of RHP-1498. The site is in need of 2 Maintenance Mechanics. A Maintenance Mechanic at Richs MIS will install, repairs, and maintains machinery and equipment. Maintenance Mechanics are required to embrace TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) - strategy to maximize equipment effectiveness and quality by involving all employees in equipment maintenance. This is NOT a maintenance mech responsible for general building and grounds maintenance like plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
his is a role that requires experience and willingness to work. We are looking for a person to start ASAP.
Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and weekends.
Duties
- Perform repairs: Conduct emergency and routine repairs on a wide range of machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This can involve tasks like fixing motors, chains, bearings, belts, and control circuitry.
- Conduct maintenance: Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly. This includes inspecting equipment, lubricating parts, and making minor adjustments.
- Install and assemble: Install and assemble new or existing equipment, and may fabricate or modify parts as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose: Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing, and diagnose problems with complex systems.
Skills/Experience:
- Technical degree such as Industrial Maintenance Technician with some automation background or equivalent degree, certification or experience.
- Strong understanding & troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical systems.
- Familiarity with computer programs such as CMMS and/or SAP experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Details: This is a temp to perm role. The position will be fully onsite, the hours are variable to cover a 12 hr production shift - they are considered 1st shift. The schedule is Mon-Fri with a weekend rotation. Interviews are required. Please email the PMO team if a site tour is needed. Thank you.
