Primary responsibilities would include:
- Maintain proper accounting and financial records
- Lead an accounting staff; train, review papers, and lead development
- Manage month-end close, preparation of financial statements, and account reconciliations
- Preparation of the annual budget and forecasts
- Prepare and maintain internal financial reports for Senior leadership
- Manage internal controls, audit process, and relationship with auditors
- Assist with the state and federal tax related filings
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of experience in an accounting function; non-profit preferred but not required
- 3 years of supervisory experience; strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communicative and organizational skills
- Established skills in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
