Overview:
Join a hands-on field team installing and maintaining critical cabling and network systems in a data center environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork and builds on prior cabling experience.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am - 10 Hour Shift
Saturday - 7am (8-hour Shift) -
Occasional nights/weekends may be required
Education & Experience:
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
-
3–5 years of experience in cabling, telecom, or data center installation.
-
OSHA 10 certification preferred (must obtain within 90 days).
-
First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days.
-
Fiber Optic Association or BICSI certifications preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Follow all safety protocols to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
-
Install, remove, and upgrade cabling and network infrastructure in data centers.
-
Deliver high-quality work while following industry standards and project specifications.
-
Interpret and follow project drawings, plans, and manufacturer guidelines.

Apply in-depth knowledge of structured cabling system installation and commissioning.

Maintain organized work areas, manage tools and materials, and address hazards promptly.

Adhere to client safety, security, and site access requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to follow instructions carefully and collaborate effectively with team members.

Experienced in safe use of hand tools for telecom and construction tasks.

Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and positive attitude.
-
Basic color recognition and English proficiency (read, write, speak).

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel minimally (~5%).
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.

May work in confined spaces, at heights, and in moderate noise environments.

Fiber optic visual fault locator (VFL), cable toner set, cable pair tester/wire map
