This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on engineer who has demonstrated expertise in path lab technologies and experience with electro-mechanical devices. Candidate will work on a new product development program which is currently in the Feasibility phase.
The candidate will work extensively in the onsite lab performing assessments on
Tissue Diagnostics Instruments using an array of different assays and tissue samples. The results of these assessments will help with the creation of design inputs for the new system.
Experience/Education:
- Bachelors in Biomedical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) along with 2-5 years of experience in the following:
**Systems Characterization Protocols
**Design of Experiments
**Test Method Validation
**Proven ability to write and execute lab and engineering testing protocols
**Planning and execution of assigned projects; utilizing thorough technical and theoretical
understanding of numerous techniques
**Experience in data analyses, evaluation of results, forming of conclusions and providing/implementing process or document improvements.
**Skilled at project planning, process updating and contributing to experimental design.
**Excellent technical presentation skills
**Quality control of work product
**Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, self-starting approach
**Motivated, hands-on engineer who is highly coachable
**Possesses a strong capacity for innovation and creativity, with a dedication to process optimization.
