Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Green Island, NY
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay Range: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated TIG Welder to join our precision manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality welded components for industries such as aerospace, defense, power generation, and specialty alloys. The ideal candidate will have TIG welding experience, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on various metals including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and specialty alloys.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.

Set up welding equipment and ensure proper adjustments based on materials and job specifications.

Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with quality standards.

Work collaboratively with machinists, fabricators, and quality teams to meet production goals.

Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support productivity and quality.
Qualifications:

Previous TIG welding experience required; certifications a plus (AWS or equivalent).

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment.
