Sandblaster
Position Summary
The Sandblaster is responsible for preparing pipes/ fittings for coating or fabrication by using abrasive blasting equipment. This role is essential to ensuring high-quality finishes and proper surface preparation for further processing.
Key Responsibilities

Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare pipes

Select and mix appropriate abrasives for specific blasting tasks.

Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure proper surface preparation.
- Maintain sandblasting equipment, hoses, and nozzles
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Work with the fabrication and coating teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Keep blasting area clean and organized; manage waste materials properly.

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision or management.
Qualifications
-
Experience: 1–3 years of sandblasting or industrial surface preparation experience preferred.

Skills:
-
Knowledge of blasting techniques, equipment operation, and surface preparation standards.

Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in physically demanding conditions.

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in dusty or confined environments.
