Part-Time Quality Technician – Entry-Level
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday & Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Two overnight shifts per week)
Nesco Resource is seeking a Part-Time Quality Technician to join our clients Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals interested in starting a career in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or Food Science. Training is provided.
Position Overview:
The Quality Technician supports production by ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This role involves working directly on the production floor, using technology and documentation systems to monitor, check, and record product quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine quality inspections throughout the production process

Operate quality inspection equipment, including x-ray and vision systems

Accurately document data using iPads and computer-based systems

Communicate with production staff to address and resolve quality concerns

Stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Comfortable using iPads, Microsoft Office, and learning new software

Good decision-making skills and ability to analyze information

Reliable attendance and strong communication skills

Positive, team-oriented attitude
