Job Title: Machine Operator / Assembly Technician (Entry-Level)
Location: Rochester, NY
Summary: Start your career in manufacturing as an Entry-Level Machine Operator / Assembly Technician. This hands-on, temp-to-perm role involves operating machines, assisting with assembly, and supporting casting and production processes. Shift(s):
- A Shift – 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday
- B Shift – 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Pay:
- $17.50 – $19.00/hour
(Based on experience; additional $1.00 shift differential for B Shift)
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machines used in production and casting processes.

Assist with assembly of parts and products according to instructions.

Perform basic quality checks to ensure parts meet standards.

Load and unload materials, maintain workflow, and keep production areas organized.

Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of machines and work areas.

Learn new tasks and processes as training is provided.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

No prior manufacturing or machining experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.

Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Attention to detail and reliability.

Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
