Nesco Resource is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Warehouse Dunnage Operator for our client in Athens, PA.
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
1st Shift 6am to 2:30
Schedule: Monday thru Friday
Description:
The Warehouse Dunnage Operator is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to transport, organize, and stack dunnage and materials efficiently. This role involves frequent lifting, carrying, standing, and twisting. The operator plays a critical role in maintaining an organized warehouse environment while ensuring safe and timely movement of materials to support production and shipping schedules.
Duties:

Operates sit-down forklift to transport, stack, and organize dunnage and materials safely and efficiently.

Sorts and organizes dunnage by customer to maintain warehouse order.

Performs frequent physical tasks including lifting, carrying, standing, and twisting.

Lifts and moves items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Supports production and shipping schedules by ensuring timely material movement.

Conducts pre- and post-shift forklift inspections; reports any equipment issues.

Follows all warehouse safety rules and operating procedures.

Assists with maintaining accurate records of inventory and dunnage movement.

Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs.

Completes general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and hazard-free.
Skills/Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid forklift operator certification, or ability to obtain certification.

Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong focus on safety and compliance with company guidelines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
