About the Role
The Global Markets Business Support and Monitoring IT Team is seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to provide Level 1 functional and technical support for mission-critical applications used by Equity Derivatives, Securities Lending, Global Macro (Rates, FX, Commodities), and Credit Front Office teams.
This role is centered on supporting Summit Front, ensuring seamless trade execution and system reliability across a fast-paced trading environment. You will collaborate with traders, developers, and support functions to maintain stability, resolve incidents, and drive continuous improvement across the front-office technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
-  Monitor End-of-Day (NY) and Start-of-Day (APAC) batch processes in Summit Front 
-  Provide Level 1 functional and technical support to Front Office and Support teams 
-  Investigate and resolve user support requests and production incidents in real time 
-  Collaborate with development teams (local and global) for issue escalation and fixes 
-  Support trade workflows, booking, and pricing processes across asset classes 
-  Assist with business analysis to help design and implement new application features 
-  Deliver clear and timely status reports and documentation 
Required Skills & Experience
-  Proven experience in IT Production or Application Support within the financial industry 
-  Hands-on experience with Summit Front 
-  Strong understanding of financial products such as: -   Structured Products 
-   Equity Options 
-   Securities Lending 
-   TRS, Repo 
-   Interest Rate Derivatives and Term Structures 
-   Credit Bonds, CLOs

-  Familiarity with FIX protocol and trade workflows 
-  Working knowledge of SQL (a plus) 
-  Strong communication and customer service orientation to support Front Office users 
-  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments 
-  Ability to prioritize and multitask across multiple business-critical systems 
-  Knowledge of Agile methodologies (a plus) 
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
Work Arrangement
  Hybrid Schedule – Mandatory 3 days in-office per week (New York City)
Pay Rate: $60 - $70 / hour
