Nesco Resource is looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s team in Anderson! This position involves building electrical switchgear housing, installing components, and working with copper and sheet metal assemblies in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a positive, productive attitude focused on safety, quality, and team goals.

Build switchgear housing from the ground up according to engineering drawings.

Read blueprints to install copper and aluminum conductors using hand tools and torque wrenches.

Consistently and safely lift 50 lbs. as part of daily duties.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues with team support.

Perform daily operational tasks in both copper and sheet metal areas.

Record and report production quality data and performance information.

Support general engineering and electrical activities as needed.

Maintain accurate production records for materials, quantities, and output.

Follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:

Proven background as an Electrical Helper, Auto Mechanic, or Industrial Mechanical Technician.

Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.

Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.

Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or Mechatronics preferred.

Experience working with LV/MV Switchgear or control panels is a plus.
