Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Utility/Grinder Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating thermoforming and auxiliary equipment, ensuring product quality through inspections, and assisting with material handling and changeovers. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate thermoforming machines and auxiliary equipment such as grinders and balers.

Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with production standards.

Operate lift trucks to manage materials, perform roll changes, and load/unload trailers at the dock.

Support RP (run preparation) processes and assist with machine changeovers.

Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and production protocols.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production updates and issues.

Opportunity to expand into more complex machine operation and increased responsibility based on performance and training.
Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

Ability to operate forklifts or lift trucks (certification is a plus).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Ability to lift up to [insert lbs., e.g., 50 lbs.] and stand for extended periods.
