Nesco Resource is in search of a Quality Manager to work for one of our clients based in Milford, CT.
 
SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading manufacturer in New Haven County, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and continuously improve all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS). This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage inspection teams, drive process improvements across manufacturing and plating operations and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain, operate, and continually improve the company's Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D standards.
- Lead and manage teams responsible for incoming, in-process and final inspections, ensuring timely and accurate verification of product quality.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement quality process improvements throughout product design and manufacturing.
- Partner with plating personnel to optimize Gold, Nickel and Tin plating processes, ensuring consistent adherence to specifications and customer expectations.
- Translate customer needs and requirements into effective quality processes, integrating them throughout the manufacturing cycle.
- Conduct data-driven analysis of nonconformance issues and implement corrective/preventive action plans.
- Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and improvement initiatives to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications and customer audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related technical field).
- At least 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing inspection or quality control teams.

- 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5pm
- Salary range: $80K - $90K; eligible for monthly shipping bonus and bonus program (pays out 4x year – Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and end of fiscal year)
