Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document activities

Troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend corrective action

Replace or fabricate machine parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
-
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures

Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to resolve mechanical issues
-
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
-
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
-
2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics

Skilled in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding tools

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in confined spaces

Comfortable working in hot, cold, or noisy environments
