Litigation Paralegal
Location: Suffolk County (On-site)
Firm Overview:
We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial or real estate-related matters, and be capable of managing all phases of the litigation process. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including case management from inception through trial and appeals.

Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, and appellate briefs.

Assist with case calendaring, docket management, and deadline tracking.

Organize and manage case files, both electronically and in hard copy.

Conduct legal and factual research using legal databases and public records.

Coordinate and manage e-discovery processes, including document review and production using e-discovery platforms.

Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.

File documents electronically in both State and Federal courts in compliance with respective court rules.
Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation.

Proficiency in litigation support tools, including e-filing platforms (e.g., NYSCEF, ECF/PACER), and e-discovery software (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull, or similar).

Strong understanding of court procedures and filing requirements in both State and Federal courts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal practice management tools.
