Market Planning Manager
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute supply plans in alignment with lead times, demand forecasts, and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites, demand planning, commercial, and project management teams to ensure product availability.
- Monitor supply constraints and communicate proactively with commercial teams regarding backorders and recovery timelines.
- Support new business opportunities with supply readiness timelines, capacity analysis, and scenario planning.
- Manage inventory performance, execute requirements planning, and review planning parameters for efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and support the monthly S&OP process for the region, including KPI tracking and cross-functional reviews.
- Ensure planning system integrity and generate regular reporting and executive summaries.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, including logistics and distribution.
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, business or a related field is required, Masters preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, including logistics and distribution.
- Must be willing to travel at least bi-weekly to local manufacturing sites.
- Established experience working with a global team is strongly preferred.
- Must have strong excel skills including but not limited to VLookups, Pivot tables, advanced formulae, etc.
- Relevant technology experience in the Americas region and globally for a multinational pharmaceutical organization.
- Understanding of the business and the technical, financial, regulatory and quality aspects of pharmaceuticals manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to think strategically, gather and synthesize large amounts of data and information, think objectively, and present facts and recommendations to peers and management.
- Ability to interface with all levels of personnel and effectively influence others while respecting cultural and organizational sensitivities.
- Proficient in Microsoft platform applications, ERP systems and other analytics tools.
