Pay
$18.00/hr, with the bonus of weekly pay!
Responsibilities
- Navigate our computer system like a pro to create and maintain essential shipping and receiving documentation.
- Be the welcoming committee for incoming materials and items, ensuring they find their perfect spot.
- Show off your skills by driving forklifts and using material handling equipment.
- Keep our inventory in check with our established procedures.
- Keep things spick and span in line with our company 5S procedures.
- Join the team for bi-annual inventory counting adventures.
- Bring your A-game for accuracy in all aspects of your work.
- Embrace flexibility and be ready to tackle new and exciting responsibilities as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work in a climate-controlled warehouse with active machinery buzzing around.
- Experience varying noise levels, from quiet in the office to moderate to loud in the production area, all within OSHA standards.
- Be prepared for non-standard work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Gear up with PPE, including gloves, safety shoes, and safety glasses.
- Get moving with physical tasks like loading, unloading, packing, and warehouse duties.
- Lift up to 40 pounds independently, and team up for anything over 50 lbs.
- Stay on your toes, or stationary, for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Bring 2-3 years of experience in Inventory Control or Shipping, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Have warehouse and forklift experience under your belt.
- Be a pro with an RF Scanner.
- Preferred that you hold a high school diploma or GED.
- Show off your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Be a computer whiz with Microsoft Excel, Word, and more.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pay attention to detail like a hawk.
- Excel in both oral and written communication.
