Structural Project Engineer (EIT or PE)

A well-established and growing structural engineering firm in Tulsa is seeking a skilled Structural Project Engineer to lead projects from concept through construction. This role offers direct involvement with a variety of structural systems (wood, masonry, steel, and concrete) and a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, industrial, and adaptive reuse projects. Candidates will be given the autonomy to manage their own work, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to the continued technical excellence of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full project lifecycle from design through construction administration.
- Perform structural design and analysis using multiple material systems and engineering tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to deliver technical and constructible solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Conduct field visits and site inspections to verify compliance with design intent and structural integrity.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and internal workflow improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Oklahoma (or eligibility through comity) or Engineer in Training (EIT) with eligibility for PE in the future
- Demonstrated experience designing with various structural systems and materials.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as RISA, ETABS, Revit, and/or STAAD
- Preferred experience in Civil 3D.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across disciplines and with clients.
- High attention to detail, professional accountability, and collaborative working style.
