Organization in Glen Falls, NY has an opening for an HR Coordinator! This role with be supporting all day-to-day HR operations. Outstanding opportunity to join an experienced team and gain additional HR experience!
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Position Type: Temp-to Perm
Compensation: $20 - $25/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain employee documentation for new hires, job and pay changes, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Coordinate employee programs and events, including appreciation initiatives, milestone recognitions, and wellness activities.
- Track employee leaves of absence and workers’ compensation claims, ensuring required documentation is collected and up to date.
- Support compliance by conducting I-9 audits and maintaining required postings and records.
- Assist with recruiting tasks such as scheduling interviews, initiating background checks and drug screenings, and coordinating with staffing agencies.
- Provide administrative support during open enrollment and other benefits-related activities.
- Must have prior HR experience!
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to format documents, create charts, and manage data efficiently.
