Nesco Resource is seeking Union technicians or laborers to complete a pack up project of devices that are located in the downtown Chicago area.
This is a contract role that will be for about 1-2 weeks.
Overview:
We are seeking experienced Laptop Technicians to assist with the relocation of IT equipment, specifically laptop devices, and preparing them for redeployment across the country. This project involves handling a large volume of devices, requiring efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail. Candidates with experience handling IT peripherals and performing IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully handle and relocate laptop devices as part of the moving process.
- Efficiently pack and prepare devices for redeployment following proper procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of packed devices, ensuring inventory counts are complete and accurate.
- Work in a repetitious and organized fashion to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflow and productivity.
- Operate with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality control.
Requirements:
- Experience handling and relocating IT equipment (laptop or similar devices preferred).
- Familiarity with IT peripherals and asset tracking tools.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
