Job Title: Assembly Technician

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team, specializing in the assembly, repair, and maintenance of mobile devices, tablets, and IoT hardware. In this role, you will work with small electronic components, follow schematics, and ensure devices are assembled and repaired to meet quality standards. This is a Temp-to-perm opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment, staying up to date with the latest advancements in mobile technology and IoT trends.
Shift:
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM
Pay:
- $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble and repair mobile devices, tablets, and IoT devices, ensuring components are properly installed and functioning.
- Follow detailed schematics and work instructions to perform precise assembly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems such as faulty wiring, connectivity issues, and component failures.
- Perform system updates, firmware installations, and quality control testing.
- Install and replace electronic components, including circuit boards, batteries, connectors, and sensors.
- Maintain and repair IoT devices, such as smart home systems, wearables, and connected hardware.
- Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure product quality.
- Maintain detailed records of assembly work, parts used, and repair times.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes.
- Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with electronic assembly, wiring, or device repair.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with IoT devices, including smart home products, wearables, and connected hardware.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality assembly work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assembly tasks efficiently.
