Parts Inventory Coordinator
Pay:$18-$22 per hour
Rotating 12 hour shift 2/2/3
Role Context:
The Parts Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Maintenance Department by ensuring optimal inventory levels of all machinery, equipment, and facilities-related materials. This position supports efficient maintenance operations and helps uphold safety and quality standards.
Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:
- Coordinate, organize, and maintain inventory for machinery and facilities maintenance parts.
- Order, stock, and receive parts, ensuring accuracy in databases and effective vendor communication.
- Procure supplies for maintenance projects.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain records in Navision.
- Conduct annual and cyclical inventory audits.
- Follow all safety and GMP rules and regulations.
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely and comply with required procedures.
- Uphold and report on food safety and quality standards.
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties as needed.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
- Experience in inventory control.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machine parts and nomenclature.
Qualifications Required:
Essential:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (further education preferred).
- HACCP (Food Safety) and Food Quality education.
Competencies Required:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, preferably Navision.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with vendors and team members.
