Logistics Management: Oversee the coordination of material and equipment deliveries to and from the project site, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations to support construction and engineering activities.
Shipment Oversight: Track and monitor shipments, working with vendors and transportation providers to resolve any issues and ensure on-time delivery.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor material usage, and collaborate with site teams to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.
Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery receipts, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Site Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and construction teams to understand material needs and priorities, providing logistical support to meet project deadlines.
Communication: Act as a liaison between the project site, suppliers, and logistics providers, facilitating effective communication to resolve logistical challenges.
Problem Solving: Identify and address logistical issues proactively, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
Ability to work independently and manage logistics operations in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
