Location: 100% On-Site in Tulsa
Type: Project-based/Contract
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30a- 4p (30 min Lunch)
Testing: DISA & Safety Required
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge in Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) systems, especially with a focus on power and instrumentation.
- AutoCAD Proficiency: Ability to use AutoCAD for design tasks.
- Field Experience: Must be comfortable working in field settings; FRs, steel-toe boots, and other PPE are mandatory.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to interact effectively with engineers, project managers, operators, and technicians.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design Standards: Develops engineering standards for electrical, instrumentation, and controls (EI&C) equipment selection and installations.
- Project Planning: Organizes project schedules and seeks process improvements.
- Implementation Oversight: Tracks project progress, evaluates performance, and provides team feedback.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnoses technical issues, conducts problem-solving, and updates project data for relevant business units.
- System Analysis and Upgrades: Designs and configures EI&C equipment, enhancing system functionality.
- Research and Innovation: Conducts research to advance process technologies and equipment efficiency.
- Project Layout: Plans and arranges EI&C and power distribution equipment for optimal layout in plant environments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical, instrumentation, and controls, with refinery or petrochemical experience preferred.
- Education: A technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Skills: Project management expertise, strong analytical skills in engineering applications, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft products and engineering software is beneficial.
