Warehouse Specialist
Orlando
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
$19


Duties
Welcome delivery trucks.
• Receive and track shipments.
• Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise.
• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times.
• Tag and label merchandise.
• Label and store customer items according to size, shape, and type.
• Palletizing, wrapping the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
• Prepare all orders for shipment.
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Operating forklift.
• Sorting and counting items.
• Taking photos and entering data in inventory system.
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks and trailers.
• Accepting delivery of inventory.
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors to relevant parties.
• Marking and labeling stock.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.


Skills and Experience
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Previous working experience as a warehouse worker.
• Hands on experience with inventory documentation skills and working in database systems.
• Strong planning and organization skills as well as time management skills.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong customer service attitude.
• Proven accuracy with documentation and reporting skills.
• Successful working in a team environment and cross functionally
• Proven to be dependable and reliable and possess good time management skills
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift heavy objects of 30-50 lbs
• Ability to twist, pull, push, and stand for lengths of time.
• Ability to be comfortable working in adverse climate conditions.
• Experience operating a forklift. Forklift Certification will be considered an advantage.
• Experience operating manual and power pallet jacks
• Proficient in the following software programs: MS Office Word, texting, email, excel
