Nesco Resource is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with very strong PLC Programming and Troubleshooting experience for a long-established manufacturer in Montgomery, AL.
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $85-90k/year bonuses (overtime is rare)
Shifts: 2 nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on management of installation, preventive maintenance, and repair/improvement of plant equipment
- Assure the completion of special assignments designated by the maintenance manager
- Supervise maintenance technicians as direct reports, developing all through problem-solving and The EPIQ Way
- Maintain and continuously improve the use of preventive maintenance program
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Assure all safety regulations are followed and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Assist in the relief of plant technical staff during absences from the plant
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and gain consensus among team members at all levels. Ability to cover for maintenance manager
- Research, design, and implement new technology to improve equipment performance and quality to the customer
- Support plant/maintenance operations as required 24/7
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong PLC Programming and Troubleshooting skills mandatory
- Proven ability to supervise a team within a JIT (Just In Time) shop
- PLC Test required as part of the interview process
- Maintenance Assessment is required as part of the interview process
- Ability to be flexible
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Maintain strict confidentiality, but not limited to, managing confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information
