To be considered for the Engineering Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree in engineering preferred)
  • 10 years of directly related experience with a minimum of two years of engineering leadership experience within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Experience planning and performing product verification and certification testing, including development of test requirements.
  • Working knowledge of military technical specifications and documentation requirements.
  • Experience with counterfeit parts protection requirements.
  • Knowledge of government bids and proposals.

As an Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Review Government solicitations and related technical data packages for feasibility to build and test.
  • Write test reports, deviation requests, and technical specifications for products.
  • Lead team in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
  • Improve engineering processes and procedures and ensure they are applied correctly.
  • Develop detailed plans for new designs and products.
  • Lead staff and delegate tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
  • Conduct risk management.
  • Present new business opportunities to potential customers.
  • Manage parts obsolescence.
  • Write Request for Variance (RFV) when parts used in assemblies are changed.
  • Review older specifications and drawings.
  • Complete costing for NRE material and time.
