Electrical Engineer: Seeking a mid-level Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing design group at a premier Engineering Consultant. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are critical along with technical expertise and attention to detail.
Management Requirements:
- Ability to lead a project from schematic design through construction administration.
- Develop written scope of work and fee estimates.
- Mentor junior designers/engineers.
- Foster long-term client relationships.
- Manage electrical design projects based on client requirements, schedule, and budget.
Technical Requirements:
- Lead project design from start to finish.
- Perform quality control reviews of electrical engineering documents.
- Specification writing.
- Detailed engineering studies and designs.
- Engineering calculations (conductor sizing, voltage drop calculations, utility transformer sizing, etc.).
- Construction administration and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Turnkey/design-build.
- Project management.
- Desirable software experience: AutoDesk Revit, AutoDesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, COMcheck.
Education Background:
- BS, Electrical Engineering
License Requirements:
- EIT (looking to pursue PE), Electrical Engineering
