Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM
Pay: $17-$19/Hour Depending on Experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspection of components in accordance with established procedures.
- Use of Go-NoGo Gauges, Calipers, Micrometers, Pin & Block Gauges, Smart Scope, Force Gauges, Rockwell Tester, test equipment and Rulers.
- Read, understand and use of Blueprints (Tolerance Ranges)
- Understand CTQ Criteria.
- Perform Product testing and inspection following applicable procedures.
- Perform final inspections of finished products prior to shipment.
- Fulfill customer component orders Inspections as per applicable procedures.
- In-process inspection by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and documenting unacceptable materials.
- Perform finished product inspections by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keeps measurement equipment in operating condition by following operating instructions; notifies Engineering of any out of calibration / broken condition.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Document Inspections on DHR paperwork following Good Documentation Practices.
- General duties as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School diploma and/or 1-3 years related experience.
- Experience with medical device manufacturing a plus.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Analyzing Information, Reporting Inspection Results, Documentation Skills, Promoting Process Improvement, Promoting Safety, Managing Processes, Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Supports Innovation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Effective working under pressure and with minimum supervision.
