Summary/Objective: We are looking for a motivated Co-op Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity in the engineering field. Responsibilities:

Mechanical Engineering Duties:

  • Contribute to the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
  • Perform analysis and simulations to assess the performance and reliability of mechanical designs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Participate in prototype testing and validation processes.

Manufacturing Engineering Duties:

  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization within manufacturing processes.
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot issues and streamline operations.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold industry standards and meet customer requirements.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior undergraduate student in an accredited engineering program, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Solid academic background with coursework covering mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and related subjects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience would be advantageous.

Work Environment: The physical requirements for this role include occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and adjusting focus as needed.
