What Success Looks Like
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision to grow our transportation group, expanding our presence in ODOT, OTA, and municipal projects.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse and talented team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with Division Engineers, Executive staff at ODOT and OTA, as well as municipal transportation managers and county commissioners.
- Project Management: Oversee the successful delivery of multiple transportation projects, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations, on time and within budget.
- Business Development: Leverage your proven ability to secure new business, driving growth and expanding our client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Transportation Group, ensuring the delivery of high-quality transportation engineering services.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative, customized solutions.
- Oversee the design and management of urban and rural roadway projects, including geometric design, drainage, construction sequencing, and traffic control.
- Coordinate utility relocations and oversee the preparation and review of comprehensive contract documents.
- Utilize 3D design tools, such as InRoads and OpenRoads, to deliver exceptional project results.
- Stay current with industry standards and guidelines, including AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, and MUTCD.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensing: Active Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience: 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on transportation projects.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in geometric design, roadway and drainage design, traffic control, and utility coordination.
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in InRoads, OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to clients and stakeholders.
