Nesco Resource is looking for an Administrative Assistant located in Watertown, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

Pay: $24.00-$28.00/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general bookkeeping tasks, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and scrutinize financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Handle payroll processing efficiently, utilizing Paychex.
  • Ensure precise and timely recording of financial transactions adhering to GAAP standards.
  • Execute Annual financial close procedures effectively.
  • Maintain well-organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
Experience:
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
  • Proficient in bank reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Familiarity with sales and use tax preparation and filing processes is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Macola Progression is advantageous.
  • Display exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
