Job Title: Quality Inspector

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create first article inspections and in-process inspection reports.
- Generate Certificates of Compliance.
- Perform any duties assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Operate inspection equipment in the QC department.
- Perform PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) as required by customers.
- Inspect products for quality and compliance.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Create detailed inspection process documentation.
- Collect and analyze quality data using Microsoft Excel.
- Generate comprehensive quality reports.
- Possess the authority to halt the manufacturing process if a problem is detected.
Requested Knowledge, Competencies, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Familiarity with various inspection tools, including calipers, height gauges, specialized computerized test equipment, etc.
- Ability to perform thorough inspections of products.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading with experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Capability to perform electrical tests is a plus.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- High School Diploma.
- 5-10 years of experience working in the quality field.
