Our client is a leading producer and distributor of CNC machinery and they're currently looking to hire a Field Service Engineer to join their NY location. In this exciting role, you will travel throughout the tri-state area (mostly NY and NJ, along with some other locations, occasionally outside of the tri-state) performing service and repair of CNC machinery and equipment, along with some install, demos, and instructional training at the customer site.
- TRAVEL TO AND FROM CUSTOMERS AND / OR SHOWS TO SERVICE, REPAIR, INSTALL AND TRAIN ON THE CAPABILITIES OF THE PARTICULAR MACHINE THAT HAS BEEN PURCHASED. (MAY EXTEND PAST THE NORMAL WORK WEEK)
- NEED TO ENSURE AGREEMENT AND RUNOFF ACCEPTANCE BY THE CUSTOMER
- ADAPTABLE TO CONTINUOUS CHANGES TO TECHNOLOGY
- OVERSEE SETUP AND INSTALLATION OF CNC SWISS-TYPE LATHE AND COMPONENTS
- TEST AND ANALYZE EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE PROPER ENGINEERING CONSULTATION
- PROVIDE PRODUCTION ENGINEERING CONSULTATION
- PROVIDES FULL INSTRUCTIONS TO CUSTOMER'S TECHNICAL PERSONNEL.
- EXPERIENCE WITH FANUC CONTROLS A PLUS
- CNC MACHINING EXPERIENCE A PLUS
- CNC SWISS EXPERIENCE A PLUS
(Will consider bright, motivated recent college grads with a bachelor's degree in the Engineering field and a keen interest in learning CNC machinery and traveling to customer sites).

Salary: Up to 60k/Year. More experienced candidates would be compensated accordingly.
