As a Metal Stamping/Machine Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in our production process, operating and maintaining metal stamping machines to deliver top-quality metal parts as per specifications. Responsibilities:

  • Operate metal stamping machines to produce parts in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
  • Set up machines by installing dies, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper alignment of materials.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or defects in the production process.
  • Perform regular quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleaning of machines and workstations.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Complete production reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating metal stamping machines or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
  • Willingness to undergo training on specific machines and processes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational training or certification in machining or related field.
  • Prior experience in metal fabrication or stamping industry.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Shift:

  • 1. Day Shift - 7 AM - 4:30 PM, Mon. - Thurs.; 7 AM - 11 AM, Fri.
  • 2. Night Shift - 8-10 Hour Shifts (Flexible Scheduling)

Pay:

  • $18 - $20 an Hour (Flexible, Based on Experience)
