The Compounding/ Pre-weigh operator will be responsible for producing Food, Cosmetic, OTC batches and sampling of raw materials on a daily basis to meet the scheduled requirements. This individual will serve as hands on personnel; for weighing, batching and sampling. This position will be responsible for ensuring batching; weighing and sampling areas are setup and operating to maintain efficiency, quality and safety.
Hours
- Monday-Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm
- Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Batching/Weighing/sampling of materials using the scales and balances.
- Understanding and adhering to safety procedures associated with handling raw materials.
- Mixing chemical/bulk as per instructions. Report production counts and weights accurately.
- Ensure that all documents are completed fully and accurately for each Batch Order.
- Operating manufacturing tanks, mixers, pumps, large scales, small balances, forklift and other electric pallet mover
- Lifting up to 50 punds regularly
Qualifications
- 1 year experience of working in a Manufacturing, FDA, GMP environment preferred
- Detail/ Goal oriented
- Strong sense of urgency
