General Description:
- Responsible for specific production lines and/or customer products regarding overall quality requirements and improvements, focusing on specific automotive customers as necessary.
- Coordination of assigned APQP projects and the development and/or update od the following: Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, APQP Documentation, PMFEA's, Inspection Instructions, and others as needed.
- Development of Quality system procedures and instructions as needed to maintain quality system.
- Resolution of customer concerns using problem resolution tools.
- Facilitation of customer PPAP submission.
- Trace and review status of engineering deviations and change requests.
- Create and update quality documents as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Proven history of successful PPAP submissions.
- Problem solving using 8D, including 3L5W and other tools.
- Statistical data review/collection experience (minitab a plus).
- Manufacturing experience- preferably in automotive industry working for a tier 1 supplier.
- Strong communication skills- both written and verbal.
- Math skills.
- Strong organizational skills and teamwork.
- An understanding of stamping (progressive tools and transfer tooling), resistance welding, and molding is a plus.
- The ability to deal with multiple priorities and deal with stressful situations.
- Experience with IATF preparations and auditing.
