Job Summary:
As a Production Planner at our client's esteemed medical device company, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of operations by orchestrating production schedules in collaboration with various teams including manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining efficient resource utilization and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to our valued customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules in collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and track material usage to identify potential shortages.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in production planning.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material orders, and inventory levels.
Job Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in production planning, managing production schedules, preferably in the medical device industry.
- B.S. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field, required
- Proficiency in ERP systems, required.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records of production schedules, material orders, and inventory levels.
- MS Office Suite Software.
