Job Description
- The primary function of this position is to order select cases, foods and other containers of refrigerated foods (meat, dairy, produce) to fill customer orders from multi-level rack storage systems
- Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees
- Forklift Sit Down , High Reach or Electric Pallet Jack
- Place pallets on Forklift / Power Jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks
- Locate products according to order sheets or Vox Audio Communication System (where available).
- Ensure count accuracy, record counts on appropriate forms and visually inspect for damaged product
- Rotate between selecting orders and loading trailer as assigned. Perform general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear
Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
